Friday begins the great adventure of home shopping! I think we're a little bit nervous, a little bit excited and a lot a bit scared! With such a big purchase looming, everything is stressed right now and we're looking to get through the weekend. I'm very excited and can't wait!

There are some awesome www.mcbridehomes.com available in St. Louis that are definitely within our reach as well as some really great "used homes" as we like to call them. I'll write more as we go through the process, but it's all very new and looking forward, not back!

One of my biggest petĀ peevesĀ is when your iPhone or iPod freezes while running - I look to create a solution for this issue.

This project is going to be Java based and will run in any OS.
The first iteration will be web based on Tomcat and Struts, but expect the classes to also be build for use as an offline run as well.

More to come in the near future.

I'm still trying to figure out joomla. Not quite sure how I feel. It seems like a pretty comprehensive CMS for being free. The weirdest thing is the difficulty to navigate out of the gates. I feel like I'm either too technical, or not smart enough to operate. The "front page" blog piece is what's got me the most confused... hopefully I can get a handle on things and update more. I am happy that I have a routing for all of my other sites, the next step will be to put joomla on them as well - or maybe something a little lighter weight like wordpress. I really should figure out how to use 1 joomla instance on all 4 sites, that would be optimal.
